January 18, 2017
By tradition, the Catholic Church dedicates each month of the year to a certain devotion. In January, it is the Holy Name of Jesus. Through this devotion, the Church reminds us of the power of Christ’s Name and encourages us to pray in His Name. Keeping Christ’s Name always on our lips is a good way to ensure that we draw ever nearer to Him. These prayers can be incorporated into our daily prayers during this month.
During the month of January, we will especially dedicate our prayers for the families of our fourth graders. We are asking our fourth graders to bring in pictures of their families so we can display them on our bulletin board. Thank you
Prayer of Petition in the Holy Name of Jesus
O Divine Jesus, Thou hast promised that anything we ask of the Eternal Father in Thy name shall be granted. O Eternal Father. In the name of Jesus, for the love of Jesus, in fulfillment of this promise, and because Jesus has said it, grant us me my petitions for the sake of Jesus, Thy Divine Son. Amen
Reminder… We cannot accept any email notes concerning absentees, tardiness, dismissal change or early pick up of students. Only a written note or phone call will be accepted. Thank you
